China's crude imports set record in February

China's monthly crude imports soared to an all-time high in February at 10.53-mil mt (over 77-mil bbl),breaking the previous record of 10.3-mil mt set just a month earlier,preliminary trade figures obtained Mar 19 from the country;s General Administration of Customs showed.While the monthly increase was only a marginal 2.23%,on-year comparison notched up a 60% surge over 6.58-mil mt the country imported in February 2003.
