After months of waiting to sign firm supply contracts with buyers to move natural gas from fields in western China on its new 4,000-km (2,486-mile) multibillion dollar West-East pipeline,PetroChina has secured take-or-pay sales deals with 18 downstream customers,an official with the Chinese state-controlled oil group said Jan 15.
