Russia's state Rosneft is opening up a new rail and tanker oil export route via Arkhangelsk on the White Sea to serve its projects in northwest European Russia,the Arctic offshore and EastT Siberia.Company president Sergei Bbogdanchikov attended a celebration Jan 15 in Arkhangelsk to mark the opening of rail offloading facilities at the port,which is being transformed into a contemporary oil export erminal capable eventually of handling 4-to 6-mil mt/year of liquids.
