US house passes tax bill with output credit

The House of Representatives on June 17 passed on a 251-178 vote a corporate tax bill that includes,among other energy-related provisions,an extension of the production tax credit for marginal oil and gas wells and a change in the excise tax on ethanol-blended gasoline.
