US' Rowan rolls out the last of its Gorilla rigs

Contract jackup drille Rowan Cos said this week it has taken possession of what will likely be the last of its Gorilla-class rigs-the us235-mil Super-Gorilla XL, its most rugged rig to date. The jackup rig, recently rechristened the Bob Palmer instead of its former name Gorilla VIII, will be capable o drillin down 35,000 feet under the sea and in 550 feet of water.
