China’s Dongying Port’s H1 copper concs imports soar 406%

Dongying Port in northeasternChina’s Shandong Province imported378,800 mt of copper conncetrate in thefirst half of this year, up 406% from H1 2015,Shanghai Metal Exchange said in a report onits website on August 15.The surge in volume was attributed tochanges in the copper materials marketsince the start of this year, with a lot ofcopper-producing countries, including Chile,having surplus capacity.
