Efficacy of Balanced fertilisation of Secondary nutrients and Micro-nutrients through IMT manuring Technique for sustainable productivity of Tea

To meet the demand of increasing cost of cultivation of tea and to remain tea industry viable, the progressive increase in productivity is required by integrating modern advancement in cultivation methods, improved cultivars, balanced nutritional management, better control of pests, diseases, weeds and ensuring health of mother earth soil as well as environmental safety. Tea soils continue to be depleted due to additions (supply) not keeping pace with removals as well as continue to be degraded due to lack of adoption of appropriate soil conservation measures. Balanced fertilisation of all essential plant nutrients is necessary for optimum growth of plants.
