20MW Solar Project Completed at Asia Pulp & Paper

A 20MW rooftop solar project has been completed at Asia Pulp & Paper Group's Gold HongYe Mill in Suzou, China, creating one of the world's largest rooftop solar installations. The panels cover approximately 300,000 square meters - the equivalent of 42 football pitches. The installation consists often thousand panels installed across the 12 production buildings, warehouses and administrative buildings of the mill. It is anticipated that the solar project will produce approximately 20 million KWh - enough to power 6,000 homes in the local area.
