Bell Elected to National Academy of Sciences

Alexis T Bell, the Theodore Vermeulen Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Univ. of California, Berkeley, and a principal investigator with the U.S. Dept. of Energy's Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, has been elected to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS). He joins 71 other new members and 18 foreign associates who were recognized for their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. The elections were announced at the 147th Annual Meeting of the Academy in April.
