Steps to follow when using recycle water

Numerous operators of cooling tower water systems are considering "used" waters in place of "fresh" waters, particularly if those fresh waters are potable city water. Cooling tower water systems not only use and consume (via evaporation) considerable quantities of water, but they often do not need good quality water such as drinking water. Thus, they are excellent candidates for using "used" water in place of the potable water. The table below lists used waters generated by industrial plants that may be reused in cooling towers.
