ATC turns biocide knowledge into hand sanitiser help The Covid-19 pandemic has led to a global shortage of hand sanitiser, but French leather chemicals manufacturer ATC has stepped in to offer help and expertise to alleviate the problem. A licence is required to manufacture this type of product and normally these licences are only granted to cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies. However, as it is a licensed manufacturer of biocides and fungicides for use in leather manufacturing, ATC realised it could also use these ingredients to make hand sanitiser.
