Aces members and guests gathered for the first social event of the year Wednesday afternoon, 5 February at our old venue the North Palm Beach Country Club new building. Phil Dunmire gave us a book report on Ensign George Gay, who rode out the Battle of Midway in the water as the sole survivor of Torpedo Squadron 8 (VT-8) flying off the USS Hornet.
