An Overview of SBx 7 7

The legislation articulated in SBx 7 7 sets an overall goal of reducing per-capita urban water use by 20 percent by Dec. 31, 2020. In addition, SBx 7 7 requires that the state make incremental progress toward this goal by reducing per-capita water use by at least 10 percent by Dec. 31, 2015. Other provisions include the following:rn1. Each urban retail water supplier must develop water-use targets and an interim water-use target by July 1,2011.
