Lockdown fines after boat party on the Bridgewater

The first fines for breaking lockdown laws on a canal boat were handed out after a drunken party on the Bridgewater Canal on 23rd April. Police received reports of a breach of the rules at Lymm and found five people "intoxicated and having a party on a canal boat". The group knew each other but did not live at the same address. They were handed a fixed penalty before being moved on from the area.
