A community theatre in London has been awarded £67,000 by the Heritage Lottery Fund to develop a play celebrating 200 years of the Regent's Canal.The Young Actors Theatre in Islington will be researching people's memories of living and working by the canal, for the bicentenary of the canal in 2020. Working withschools, it will create a play for youngsters to perform on a floating stage on the canal.
