Kaplan Compliance Solutions unveiled a complaints-tracking mechanism that helps securi-. ties broker-dealers follow required procedures once they become aware of a customer complaint. The Complaints Module - part of Kaplan's Compliance Management System Generation 2 end-to-end compliance automation solution - allows timely and accurate reporting of complaints to FINRA for compliance with FINRA rule 3070(c) and NYSE rule 351 (d), according to Kaplan. The solution enables broker-dealers to initiate and manage complaint responses from a single interface. Features include the ability to update complaint statuses, to group related complaints and to track related complaint documents, A Complaints Alerts feature flags incomplete entries and ensures that data is reported in a timely manner.
