Prelude strike

CATERING and cleaning staff on Shell's Prelude floating liquefied natural gas vessel off Western Australia are preparing for further strike action as a pay dispute with French supplier Sodexo drags on. The Offshore Alliance of unions is planning a six-hour stoppage on 20 August, following on from protected action last month, which saw Sodexo workers down tools as negotiations over a new enterprise bargaining agreement stalled.
