摘要

LEADERS of Brazil's offshore sector discussed their responses to the "perfect storm" of the corona-virus pandemic and low oil prices, and how the new oil crisis will affect operations, while speaking during Upstream's first-ever digital conference. Offering views on the challenges facing Brazil's oil and gas industry were Shell Brazil production director for pre-salt assets Cristiano Pinto da Costa, SBM Offshore Brazil country director Eduardo Cha-musca, Enauta chief executive Lincoln Guardado, Port of Acu boss Jose Firmo and former ANP director-general Decio Oddone. "We went through different phases during the pandemic. The first one was kind of staring at the tsunami," said Firmo, during Upstream's 25 June digital conference. "Four months ago, we were looking at this and thinking, how are we going to handle it? It was a challenge just to keep things operating."
