UGANDA'S new Minister of Energy & Minerals, Mary Kitutu, met top executives from the country's upstream regulator and state oil company late last week, two days after she officially replaced Irene Muloni. At the ministry's Amber House headquarters in Kampala, Kitutu, who previously held the environment portfolio, chaired a meeting with officials from the Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU) and state-owned Uganda National Oil Company.
