LAST year was the best since 2011 for exploration on the Norwegian continental shelf, according to oil and gas business development and strategy consultant Anders Wit-temann of Wittemann E&P Consulting. Wittemann believes exploration off Norway has reached a stage where giant discoveries are less likely, "although these are still obviously sought after".
