This is a Belgian program being run by MBLE Defense. This unmanned air vehicle performs battlefield surveillance/reconnaissance missions and is approaching its 16th year of service with the Belgian armed forces. The system was developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The air vehicle has a wingspan of 1.72 meters and a length of 2.38 meters. The engine uses a single Lucas CT3201 turbojet (0.49 kN). The UAV's takeoff weight is 147 kilograms, payload is 20 kilograms, maximum speed is 500 kmph, range is 93+ kilometers, and endurance is 25 minutes. A total of two Epervier platoons have been operational within the Belgian Army since 1977.
