Intramolecular cyclizations of N-alkylidene-O-nafthylurethanes and N-alkylidene-N'-naphtilureas activated with trifluoromethyl group

N-Alkylidene-O-naphthylurethanes (N'-naphtylureas) with azomethyn bond activated with trifluoromethyl group undergo intramolecular thermal cyclization giving derivatives of 3,4-dihydro-2H-naphto-[1,3]-oxazine-4-ones and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-2H-naphto-[1,3]-pyrimidine-2- ones correspondingly.
