摘要

The development of urban underground space resources is a growing imperative whether from the view of urban needs or its advantages. For sustainable urban development, the perspective of undertaking urban planning should be transformed into three-dimensional, taking underground space into account. The evaluation of urban underground space resources is the foundation of scientific planning. Under the support of Nantong Municipal Government in China, this study takes Nantong city as case, using the analytical hierarchy process method and the geographical information system platform to evaluate the development difficulty, potential value and comprehensive quality of underground space resources, thereby providing decision-making support to related planners, managers and constructors.
