Results from Comprehensive Thermal and Chemical Tests of Steam Generator No. 2 in Unit 1 at the Volgodonsk Nuclear Power Station

We present the results from investigating the distribution of the concentrations of sodium and iron (Ⅱ + Ⅲ) in the water volume of a steam generator and an analysis of their behavior in the course of blowdown operations carried out in accordance with the existing maintenance procedure when the power unit is run with its reactor plant operating at a power of 100% N_(nom) under the conditions of an all-volatile water chemistry.
