Cycles on trains: There would be many booby prize winners

Atoc, Cycling England, the Cyclists' Touring Club and others all deserve credit for launching the National Cycle-Rail awards. Categories include best local government contribution, customer service excellence and most innovative approach to cycle-rail integration, as well as Station of the Year and Train Operator of the Year. One category missing is the Booby Prize. Perhaps, given the evidence amassing of a wave of anti-cycle hysteria among train operators, there should be such a prize for each class. There would be a long list of entries in the booby prize categories, including South Central, London Midland, London Midland, South Central and Eurostar. Perhaps the GE and Euston lines should also be entered.
