The Deltic Preservation Society's No. D9009 Alycidon derailed on points at the Nene Valley Railway on September 6 while heading for the depot at Wansford. It was not rerailed until the following day.rnThe '1968 Final Days Gala', featuring this loco and Class 40 No. D306, has been postponed until October 10/11.
