The new-build Lynton & Barnstaple Railway 2-6-2T Lyd will be tested in steam in January.rnThe boiler of the Ffestiniog Railway-based 'Lazarus' loco is in the final stages of installation, vacuum-brake cylinders and reservoirs are in position and the cab was temporarily fitted following delivery in early August. (The team working on it could not resist the temptation of seeing how it would look!)rnAlthough a spark-arrester is being fitted, Lyd will initially be oil-fired.
