The Honorary Treasurer presented Quarterly Management Accounts to Council. Anticipated surpluses had fallen behind in some areas, notably the Lighting Journal. ILEX exhibitions had however been successful and met targets. Income from Lightec '96 was less than expected because of a lower than anticipated attendance. Overall it seems likely that the ILE would have to bear a deficit of approximately £16,000 for 1996.
