PURPOSE: An auto-focusing method determining the mobile direction of a focus lens, recording media recording the same, and an auto-focusing device are provided to improve auto-focusing speed by preventing an unnecessary focus lens from being driven.;CONSTITUTION: A focus lens drive unit moves a focus lens. A focus lens location determining unit(81a) determines whether the current location of a focus lens is in a remote range or local range. An image analysis unit(83a) is inputted to a current position of the focus lens. A phase overcast of a first image is determined.
