The scare stories of the last few weeks have thrown a blanket of fog over the whole euro debate, with the pro-Europeans increasingly jumping on the supposed remarks by the British ambassador to Japan and the chairman of Nissan as evidence that we are doomed if we don't board the euro train at the earliest opportunity. However, the truth is that the flow of investment into the UK shows no signs of slowing. While last week's figures may have been based on decisions taken some years ago, current levels show no sign of easing up, being based on a multitude of factors, not just whether we are a member of the euro-club.
