Last week, a packed event in Birmingham celebrated the 20th anniversary of Glenn Howells Architects, complete with speech by Kevin McCloud, a client for the practice's housing in Swindon. Before setting off to the second city, I leafed through the pages of AJs from 1990, wondering if there would be much that seemed relevant today.
