Reshaping the city and the workplace: 10 propositions

The genie that we call information technology is now well and truly out of its bottle. Like the air we breathe, TT is everywhere. To treat the design of the physical fabric of the City of London as something distinct from information technology would be as much a mistake as denying that office technology was having a huge impact on the daily lives and aspirations of knowledge workers. The design of workspaces, of information technology and of social and organisational structures can no longer be regarded as three self-contained specialisations.
