The 56th Annual General Body Meeting was held on 13th September 2007, at Century Bhavan Auditorium, Worli, Mumbai and was attended by members in large numbers. Mr C. Bose (Reliance Industries Pvt. Ltd.) was unanimously re-elected as President and Mr Mahendra Tanna (Managing Director, CHT (India) Pvt. Ltd.), was unanimously re-elected as Vice President of the Textile Association (India), Mumbai Unit, for the term 2007-2009.
