We at Textile India Progress, a monthly journal, have prepared an indepth study and have titled this as "Textile India Progress Pre-Budget Memorandum 2015-2016". The subject is on current situation and problems of Indian Textile and Apparel Industry. We have suggested solutions, to overcome current crisis, facing the Textile Sector. Our suggestions are aimed at successfully accomplishing, National Textile Vision document and National Textile Policy, which has set the target for Indian textiles industry to grow from the current $110 billion to $350 billion by 2025 (Domestic $200 billion and export $150 billion). This translates into immediate additional investment requirement of the order of Rs 50,000 Crores. Our suggestions, if implemented in Union Budget 2015-2016, will also fulfill your Vision to put textile segment as part of 'Make in India' program and in the process around 35 million additional jobs creation is expected to take place, by 2025.
