Textile Institute's centenary conference

The Textile Institute which marks its centenary this year with a world conference titled "Textiles: a global vision" on November 3-4, is inviting papers from the industry and academia for the conference. Professor Subhash Anand MBE CText FTI will chair the conference, the guiding theme of which is 'Creating a global vision for textiles, clothing and footwear'. It will cover such areas as: product design, education and training, retail, innovative materials, smart materials and wearable technology, sustain-ability, manufacturing processes, quality control, testing and evaluation, and performance, technical textiles, research and development, supply chain management, marketing and management, future trends. Papers on relevant topics outside these areas will also be considered.
