Dems See Cause for Net Neutrality Action in Throttling Report

House Energy and Commerce Committee ranking minority member Frank Pallone Jr. (D., N.J.), who is expected to become chairman in January, and Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee member Ed Markey (D., Mass.) have responded to a Bloomberg report that Sprint Corp. has been slowing, or throttling, subscribers' data traffic when they are using Skype as evidence that action is needed to restore net neutrality protections rolled back by the FCC in a December 2017 order.
