Internationalizing Technology Teaching with Blogs and Bananas

As Friedman (2005) reminded us, the world is flat. Students already live in a global village where commerce, families, and environmental and political issues do not respect national boundaries. Educators can take advantage of the "read/ write web" (Richardson, 2006) to connect their studentsrninternationally in meaningful activities that address multiple teaching standards that are of concern to educators, parents, and the public worldwide.
