摘要

The basic examinations into energy labelling of refrigerated vehicles has shown that FRIGOBLOCK alternator drive technology results in 50 to 60% less fuel consumption than even the most efficient of the refrigeration systems driven by an integrated diesel engine. This enormous fuel saving of up to 60% is made possible by the efficiency of more than 90% of the FRIGOBLOCK alternator and of up to 50% for the increased power requirements of modern vehicle diesel engines. In contrast, conventional industrial diesel engines used in transport refrigeration systems only operate at a maximum of 10 to 30% capacity utilisation depending on load and application temperatures. This is in fact the most unfavourable efficiency range for diesel engines, giving a total efficiency of, on average, only 20%.
