Pramod Deo, Chairperson and Chief Executive of Central Elec-rntricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), said in his special address at the Green Power 2009 International Conference at Chennai that all power state utilities in the country will have to buy at minimum 5 % of their grid purchase from renewable energy sources from 2009-10 onwards and 15% by 2020.
