About the fib audience

On the 29th of October this year, our General Assembly unanimously approved the fib 2010 Model Code. This document, the result of 10 years of hard work and cooperation between members of our Special Activity Group No. 5 and associated Commissions and Task Groups, is not only an internationally recognized pre-normative reference, continuing the series of CEB-FIP Model Codes, but also the flagship and cornerstone of fib publications. This is a good opportunity to highlight the wealth and quality of fib editorial work since the fib's inception in 1998 as a result of the merger of CEB and FIR So far, 60 bulletins and 48 issues of "Structural Concrete", each with between three and six papers, have been published, not to mention fib news. Since 2009 "Structural Concrete" has been indexed in the Thomson Reuters (ISI) Web of Science, which acknowledges its international scientific level.
