Smooth access and transit routes will be in operation to facilitate visits to Expo 2005. To reflect the theme of the exposition, a transit system with minimal environmental impact has been developed, founded on public transit systems such as rail and bus transport (a park-and-ride system will be introduced to alleviate congestion on surrounding roads). Buses will shuttle visitors between the parking areas and the expo site. Traffic safety facilities will be installed and ITS (Intelligent Transport System) as well as other systems will be utilized to ensure improved traffic safety and flow in surrounding areas.
