The 8th Life Science Summit

The 8th Life Sciences Summit was held at Tokyo Prince Hotel on April 21, 2008, made possible by the cooperation of three organizations, namely, the Life Sciences Summit Steering Committee, including the Diet Members' Promotion Alliance for Life Sciences (DMPALS, chaired by Koji Omi), the Cabinet Office's Council of Sciences and Technology Policy (CSTP, Executive Member: Tasuku Honjo) and the Japan Association of Bioindustries Executives (JABEX, chaired by Katsuhiro Utada). Chairman Omi and Chairman Utada kicked off the meeting by talking about the importance of the Life Sciences Summit.
