Respected Suprakash da, Your editorial in the May-June issue of Science & Culture (Learnings from COVID-19 pandemic) is excellent. I have forwarded it to several university teachers, who are interested in the topic. The writeup covers both dark as well as bright sides of the Corona pandemic. Hopefully, this time the loss in terms of human lives, economy etc will end up with much less extent, compared to that of the 1918-19 pandemic. Now people are more prudent and have many devices and weapons to tackle the challenge. But at the same time, as you rightly mentioned, many of us are still unable to catch up with the problem. Sometimes superstitions guide us. Social boycotting, drinking bovine urine or reading honuman chalisha etc seem to be the remedies for many people. More importantly, such believers are also from educated class.
