Explosives found in Chinese box

A container from China laden with explosives was discovered by Nigerian customs officials at the Tin Can terminal in Lagos in September, IHS Global Insight reported. Quoting local reports, it said that the shipping manifest listed the container as carrying "industrial valves and toys". Customs officials reported that they has not yet traced the consignee and no arrests had been made.Should investigations into the shipper and consignee "yield information that indicates the complicity of the Chinese government or firms, relations between the two countries will suffer a serious blow", IHS Global Insight suggested.
