The technology relates to the field of aircraft flight test and optimisation. The proposed technology seeks to individually optimize the performance of each individual aircraft during routine flight operations by the airline. This can enables flight control scheduling to be individually tweaked for each specific aircraft and kept updated throughout its life. This will result in a lower level of drag than would be the case for a non-optimum reference configuration specified by the original manufacturer.
