A Companion to John Adams and John Quincy Adams, published in print and as an e-book by Wiley-Blackwell, provides a holistic view of the lives of John Adams, Abigail Adams, John Quincy Adams, and Louisa Catherine Adams. This tome provides a large amount of information, first providing it through a biographical chapter on these two famous presidents and their spouses, but then, through individual chapters, discussing various topics with an in-depth discussion of the historiography, issues pertaining to the topic, and other areas which allows readers to consider future topics for discussion.This massive work contains chapters by 27 different contributors, mostly academic historians at well-known institutions and a few doctoral candidates, but also scholars of the Adamses' archival collections. These selected contributors agree on some points but not all.
