The Llangollen Railway's DMUs are now undergoing winter maintenance following their successful end of season 'Thomas' event, which saw three units per day used over a nine day period. All three sets were coupled together on weekdays but at weekends Class 127 51618 and Class 108 trailer 56223 were split and worked as a two-car set. The 108 and 104 sets then worked as a four-car.Currently in the workshops is the Wickham unit which is having two new exhaust pieces and modifications to the cooling water pipes for its No. 2 engine. The corridor connection canvases are also being replaced.
