The Federative Republic of Brazil has bought a ￡24m property in the heart of London's West End to establish a new embassy.Brazilian president Lula da Silva's administration exchanged contracts last month with a private Middle Eastern investor to buy 14-16 Cockspur Street, which is just off Trafalgar Square.The new embassy is more than double the size of its existing facility.
