Windows Quota Management Made Easy

SpaceGuard SRM is a Windows disk management software. It can integrate itself with Active Directory and provide directory based quotas based on percentage of disk or directory size. The software allows you to monitor, configure and manage quotas and agents on multiple servers from a single console. Unlike the Windows Quota Management utility, SpaceGuard has features such as quota enforcement, auto-add quotas, disk quota policies, etc. It also provides quota monitoring for FAT drives. Under Quota Enforcement the software can automatically deny write access to the quota's directory for a single or an entire group of users. This is done by revoking the access rights (by setting explicit 'Deny' write in the directory's ACL). When the limit is no longer exceeded, it reverts back the access rights to the originallevels and restores the ACL.
