Sperian Protection has launched the SP1000~(TM) range of safety eyewear, which it says offers workers protection against sun, wind, dust and debris, and minimises the risks associated with activities such as grinding, chipping, cutting and sanding. Designed for use in particularly demanding work environments, the adjustable eyewear can be worn with temples or a headband as required. The nose-pads, which adjust to a variety of facial pro- files, are said to reduce slippage, while padded temple tips are said to prevent friction behind the ears. The fire-retardant headband moulds to the shape of the head. The lenses of the SP1000 use Dura-streme technology, which enables a specific coating to be applied to each side: anti-fog on the interior and anti-scratch on the exterior. The lenses come in three colours: clear, HDL yellow and TSR grey.
